What makes a sales page work

Most sales pages fail because they describe the product instead of selling it. They list features, explain the process, maybe add a testimonial or two, then put a buy button at the bottom and wonder why the conversion rate is 1%.

A conversion-focused sales page works differently. It starts with the reader, not the product. It addresses what they already believe, what they are afraid of, and what they need to be true before they will hand over their card details. The product is introduced as the answer to those things, not as the subject of the page.

Format and structure
